We are seeking a dynamic, detail-driven Accounting Manager to lead financial operations and drive continuous improvement at NetCost Market, a beloved international grocery brand serving the Brooklyn community and beyond.
As our Accounting Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our growth—overseeing financial functions, maintaining inventory control, and helping implement an exciting new Point of Sale (POS) system.

What You’ll Be Doing:- Serve as the go-to expert for daily finance operations.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Oversee Sales Revenue Audits and ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts.
- Lead the implementation of a new POS system to streamline transactions.
- Support Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting activities.
- Perform Data Analysis to guide smarter business decisions.
- Maintain inventory control and track asset movements accurately.
- Prepare and post journal entries across multiple entities.
- Assist with month-end closings and generate monthly financial statements.
Who You Are:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification a plus!
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Background in retail, wholesale, or fresh produce industries highly preferred.
- Proficient with QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, and advanced Excel.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Experience with POS system rollouts is a strong advantage.
