Title: Accounting Manager
Pay range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, eligible for annual bonus based upon company performance

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is an 100% on-site office position. Candidate must have the ability to work in the corporate office full-time.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. This is a critical leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building efficient financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with operations, and executive leadership on budgeting and strategic planning
- Assist in tax filing correspondence, regulatory reporting, and liaise with external tax advisors
- Support system upgrades, ERP improvements, and automation projects
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives across both accounting and accounts payable functions
- Lead accounting process for property onboarding and offboarding
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholders
