Are you a CPA with 5+ years of mixed experience between Big 4 and private industry?

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Manager, your main responsibilities will include

• Overseeing the preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws in all financial transactions and reporting.
• Implementing and managing all activities related to PeopleSoft, including system upgrades and process improvements.
• Supervising and mentoring a team of accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Developing and implementing effective accounting policies and procedures.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations.
• Providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager role will have the following qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Big 4 / private industry experience
