Accounting Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting department and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing budgets, and conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with ASC 842 and inter-company accounting standards
• Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely reporting
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support management
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations
• Collaborate with manufacturing and material handling departments for accurate cost accounting
• Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting certification (CPA or CMA) preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with ASC 842 and inter-company transactions
• Proficient in financial analysis and budgeting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
