Position: Accounting Manager

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA is an advantage.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with some experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a commitment to driving and achieving results.
• Knowledge of employee relationship-building and performance management techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other financial systems is also required.

Job Description:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities, as well as the annual corporate financial controls audit.
• Evaluate current practices and procedures, and propose recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and manage special projects as requested.
• Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely closing and reporting at year-end.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (5 days per week), with potential Saturday or holiday work based on operational requirements.
