💵 Pay Rate: $60 – $67/hour (Based on Experience)

We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to step into a vital leadership role—guiding processes, mentoring team members, and driving month-end success.

💼 Your Impact: What You’ll Do

As the Accounting Manager, you'll oversee core areas like R&D and SG&A accounting, partner invoicing, fixed assets, leases, prepaids, and more. You’ll ensure accurate financial treatment, mentor junior accountants, and collaborate across departments—all while keeping operations aligned with GAAP and SOX compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and mentor team members to ensure high-performance execution.
• Oversee new vendor set-ups, lease accounting, fixed asset transactions, and monthly allocations.
• Manage accruals for outsourced contracts (R&D, SG&A, manufacturing).
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and treasury activities.
• Collaborate with external auditors, SOX consultants, and cross-functional teams.
• Support internal and external audits, quarterly reviews, and tax return prep.
• Drive process improvements and maintain internal controls.

📚 What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred).
• 6+ years of general ledger and accounting experience; 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and experience in SOX-compliant environments.
• Public company experience; biotech/pharma industry background highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Great Plains and Microsoft Office Suite.
