Job Description We are currently looking for a Manager Controlling & Accounting for our Finance & Accounting department at the European headquarters which is located in WTC, Amsterdam South. DENSO Europe's Finance & Accounting department offers its activities and services to the EU group and is responsible for the centralization and standardization of F&A activities in Europe and also for dissemination and the implementation of the financial rules and procedures in accordance with DENSO standards. The Finance & Accounting department consists of 20 people. In this role you are responsible for: Internal compliance control/infrastructure of the accounting/controlling business processes in EU EU accounting management (standardization) Local accounting / multiple countries management Managing German Finance & Accounting department directly IFRS compliance coordination in Europe Compliance corporate tax NL and other countries, Jointly Month / Quarter / Year Closing and Reporting Coordination and Reporting Coordination to Japan Headquarters Coordination with accountants, operating companies and headquarters in Japan In addition to the above tasks, you will also be involved in other challenging (international) projects. Qualifications Education and work experience: A relevant completed bachelors (HBO) or university education 8 to 12 years of relevant work experience, preferably gained in a international environment or Big Four organization Knowledge, skills and competences: Thorough knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS, experience in preparing statutory Annual Accounts and (statutory) audits Thorough knowledge of and experience with financial business processes Knowledge of and experience with Tax Accounting and (filing of) Corporate Income Tax is preferable Strong analytical skills, knowledge of reporting tools Strong operational and problem-solving skills and ownership in solving problems Attention to detail with a flexible and pragmatic and proactive attitude Good communicative skills and the ability to deal with different cultures Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels within the organization Good knowledge of the English and Dutch language, both in verbal en writing.
