Accounting Manager. Manufacturing Industry Accounting Manager. NextStep Recruiting is working with a large, private equity-owned manufacturer that is looking to hire an experienced Accounting Manager for their growing team.

Candidates should have:

• 8+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience with 4 plus years of leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Strong month-end close experience and strong U.S. GAAP experience to work through technical accounting questions. Internal controls experience in compliance with SOX.
• Manufacturing industry experience best or Supply Chain / Distribution type of industry working with cost accounting, inventory accounting, etc.
• Advanced Excel skills. Strong ERP systems experience with large enterprise systems
• Strong communication and leadership skills
