Summary

Our client, a Career Training Company, is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to join their team. In this role, you will lead and support the accounting team while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. This company offers a great work environment and team culture! This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office.

Job Function

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting staff on best practices and procedures.
  • Advise management on fiscal policies and significant financial matters.
  • Actively participate in the preparation and review of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial records, statements, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead and engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, adhering to established protocols.
  • Uphold ethical standards and ensure compliance with SOX and other applicable regulations.


Job Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of 4-6+ years of public accounting audit or hands on accounting experience, preferably Big 4.
  • CPA, or CPA Candidate, Preferred
  • Public company experience a plus
