Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and building materials industry, is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to join their team immediately. This is a hands-on role focused on core accounting functions, not a supervisory role, and ideal for a self-sufficient accounting professional who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle month-end close procedures
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations
• Manage AP check runs, primarily ACH payments
• You will tee up payments; the AP team will handle processing
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of senior-level accounting experience
• (Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Controller-level backgrounds welcome)
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices
• Experience with:
• Month-end close
• Account reconciliations
• Accounts payable check runs
