Position Summary:

We are seeking a hard-working, motivated, and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our growing accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting knowledge, problem-solving capabilities, and leadership experience to oversee our domestic entities' monthly close, reconciliation, and general ledger activities.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter, and has a continuous improvement mindset. As Globus continues to expand, we offer a dynamic environment that encourages career growth and professional development.


Essential Duties:

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of three Senior Accountants.
  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly close processes.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Assess, optimize, and document financial processes.
  • Collaborate across departments (Accounting, IT, Operations) to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Support system and technology implementations.
  • Serve as the key contact for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses for senior management.
  • Drive automation and efficiency with a willingness to challenge the status quo.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core financial concepts.


Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Collaborative and able to build effective relationships across functional areas.
  • Experience with OneStream is a plus.


Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $60 – 65.
