Kforce has a client that is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Consultant to support a non-profit organization in Midtown Manhattan. Key Responsibilities: * Accounting Consultant will manage and execute all aspects of the monthly close process * Prepare accurate and timely financial reports * Assist in reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals * Navigate and support audit processes independently, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests * As an Accounting Consultant, you will ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and organizational policies * Collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed* Prior experience in the non-profit sector is required * Strong understanding of GAAP and audit processes * Proficiency in NetSuite is a must * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
