Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Campbell, California. This Contract-to-Permanent position is ideal for an entry-level accounting graduate with a passion for tax and a commitment to growth. Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. - Support tax preparation activities, including data entry and document organization. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. - Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage spreadsheets for financial data analysis. - Work with Lacerte Tax Software to support tax-related tasks and filings. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and other accounting transactions. - Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and achieve departmental goals. - Maintain confidential client and financial information with the utmost integrity. - Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent entry-level experience. - Basic understanding of general accounting principles and practices. - Familiarity with tax preparation processes and tools, including Lacerte Tax Software. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
