Responsibilities

  • Prepare and record monthly journal entries and accruals in accordance with GAAP.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet flux analyses and investigate variances.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
  • Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial reports and statements (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data; identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support external audits by providing documentation and explanations as requested.
  • Maintain and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, tax, and operations.


Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of USGAAP (or IFRS, as applicable).
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g. NetSuite, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of lease accounting, revenue recognition, or cost accounting.
