Your Mission

The Accountant (temporary) is a temporary member of Proximity Finance Accounting Team under Finance Department with the expected contract period of 6 months. The Accountant will be required to assist the accounting team for daily accounting duties while the core accounting team members are mainly focusing on ERP system implementation.  By having this role, the heavy workload of the accounting team will be shared and then, meet the required reporting deadlines without disruption.

Once You’re Here, You Will Be:

• Assist in recording daily financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Prepare and review journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Support monthly closing tasks including accruals and adjustments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash/bank transaction records.
• Verify e-forms and supporting documents against ledger reports and excel files to ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and data accuracy.
• Assist with data entry and validation in accounting systems.
• Assist regulatory report preparation
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA Part II).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP) is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
