Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant/Bookkeeper located in Fairfax County, VA. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, reconciling accounts, and preparing tax returns. The role also involves maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting and preparing financial statements
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable management
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax return preparation
• Strong skills in account reconciliation and financial record keeping
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Working knowledge of accounting software and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification is a plus
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous
