We are looking for an Accounting and Payroll Manager to join our accounting team. The successful candidate would be a service-oriented professional who is experienced in bookkeeping and payroll controlling, flavored with great interpersonal skills and attention to detail. This role requires proven managerial experience, including the ability to lead processes, oversee team workflows, and collaborate effectively across departments. This position will be reporting to the Corporate Controller.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping Oversight:
  • Take full responsibility for all bookkeeping activities across the company and its subsidiaries, including accounts receivable and payable, provisions, payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, tax reporting, and intercompany reconciliation.
  • Take lead responsibility of accounting and bookkeeping processes-
  • Including the implementation and enhancement of internal controls and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Month-end close:
  • Oversee the preparation of the trial balance, accruals, journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and other provisions required for the company’s consolidated monthly financial close.
  • Global Payroll Management (>50 employees):
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for global entities, including payroll preparation and submission, coordination with local payroll providers, onboarding and offboarding, time-off tracking, travel & expense reimbursements, statutory reporting and payments, and handling employee provisions such as bonuses and accrued leave.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions across global entities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
  • Work with external auditors as part of the audit process.
  • Assist the finance team with various ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.

 

Requirements

  • Certified Bookkeeper- Level 3.
  • 3+ years’ experience as an accounting manager or senior bookkeeper in a global tech company.
  • Certified Payroll Controller with at least 3 years of experience in payroll processing of +50 employees. 
  • Strong understanding of Israeli payroll processes and labor law
  • Experienced managing a team of at least 1-3 bookkeepers.
  • Experienced in Michpal.
  • Experience working with NetSuite - an advantage.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Proficient in English- written and spoken.
  • A team player, and great communicator, with an organized and structured mindset, and strong attention to details.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
  • Confidentiality - oriented with high ethical standards.
