Responsible for overseeing the daily accounting activities of entities in Luxembourg, including the administration of German and Luxembourg VAT and tax filings. Also involved in assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial closings and coordinating with both internal and external parties.

Missions

• Conduct daily recording of cash transactions from banks and manage tenant direct debit operations.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and actively participate in cash flow management.
• Engage actively in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Collaborate with both internal and external auditors, banks, and other key stakeholders.
• Process expense reports, handle supplier and intercompany invoices efficiently.
• Oversee the generation and management of recurring invoices and address aged creditor balances.
• Execute weekly payments for all expense reports, supplier, and intercompany invoices as per schedule.
• Prepare VAT returns on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for Germany and Luxembourg.
• Address and resolve inquiries from tax authorities and advisors regarding VAT issues.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Operations Manager and the Luxembourg team to enhance financial processes.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of accounting.
• A motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, results-oriented and a strong team player.
• Fluency in German is required; proficiency in additional languages is a valuable asset.
