What does this job require?

  • Casual attire, such as jeans and nice shirts, is acceptable in our Tinley Park office as this job is not remote.
  • Successfully passing the Illinois insurance producer licensing in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Giving our customers positive interactions, whether through phone calls, emails, texts, or in person.
  • Every conversation carefully documented for future reference.
  • Becoming knowledgeable about the products available and how they can benefit our customers.
  • Learning about the customer and offering multiple solutions to their specific problems or goals.
  • Being able to communicate the features and benefits of appropriate products, present pricing, and successfully complete the transaction
  • Efficiently handling multiple tasks, ensuring customers are responded to promptly while other responsibilities are still met.

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

About Our Agency

  • Our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.
  • We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
  • Our office is located in Frankfort.
  • Our office is open Mon - Fri 9 to 5 (evenings & weekends by appointment).
  • I have been a State Farm agent since 2001.
  • Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
  • We currently have 3 team members at our agency.
  • Our agency has received awards including: Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, Senior Vice President's Club, and Bronze Tablet
