Summary

IES Residential is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our IES Austin TX area divisions.

The Accounts Payable Clerk coordinates the timely and accurate processing of customer and vendor payments. The Clerk is organized, and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, work independently and maintain a professional/friendly demeanor.

Specific Qualifications

Accounts Payable Clerk qualifications

  • Track Material Purchases
  • Schedule and Track Inspections
  • Process checks requests on a regular basis
  • Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
  • Perform monthly reconciliations
  • Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Address and respond to vendor inquiries


Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma. Associate degree in accounting preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ experience with accounts payable or general accounting
  • Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytic abilities
