Responsibilities: As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in the market. Your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Business Development: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with custom home builders in the St. Louis area. Utilize a combination of prospecting, cold calling, and networking to generate new business opportunities. 2. Client Engagement: Conduct insightful meetings with decision-makers to understand their unique needs and challenges. Provide tailored solutions, leveraging our comprehensive range of security and AV services. 3. Proposal Management: Prepare compelling proposals and bid specifications to strategically secure new business. Manage the entire sales process from the initial meeting to project closure, ensuring thorough documentation of client needs and future opportunities. 4. Design and Specification: Collaborate with in-house support resources to develop project designs and initial job specifications. 5. Reporting and Forecasting: Generate accurate call lists, sales forecasts, and other reporting items as needed to contribute to the overall success of the team. Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: High school degree or equivalent work experience. One or more years of experience in the audio, video, or home building industry. Demonstrated success in sales with one or more years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong written and oral English communication skills. Ability to travel locally, attend industry events, and occasional seminars.
