Summary

Wallop is looking for an Account Manager to manage accounts under the guidance of the Director of Client Services! They will be responsible for leading client relationships and overseeing the successful execution of branding and website projects for our luxury hospitality clients. They will manage day-to-day communication, keep projects moving efficiently, and ensure client satisfaction through every phase of work.


The Account Manager collaborates closely with internal creative, strategy, and development teams to deliver high-quality work that meets client objectives. They are also responsible for managing project scope, timelines, and budgets, while bringing organization, strategic thinking, and a solution-oriented mindset to every project.

On a day-to-day basis the Account Manager will: 

  • Client Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing all communications and expectations.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients rooted in responsiveness, reliability, and clear communication.
  • Proactively define strategy and determine project requirements based on the client’s needs and goals
  • Proactively Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships
  • Project Coordination
  • Oversee branding, web, and digital marketing projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and scopes are maintained.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to allocate resources, manage workflows, and troubleshoot challenges.
  • Prepare and lead internal and client meetings, ensuring next steps and deliverables are clearly defined.
  • Scope & Budget Oversight
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, providing regular updates to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and communicate changes in scope, working with senior team members to propose solutions and navigate approvals.
  • Track hours, manage estimates, and contribute to the financial health of accounts.
  • Strategic Insight & Support
  • Help align creative and strategic work with client business objectives and brand standards.
  • Participate in the development of project briefs and presentation materials in collaboration with the strategy and creative teams.
  • Offer thoughtful recommendations that elevate the work and add value to the client relationship.
  • Support in new business opportunities with pitches and proposal creation 


Skills & Experience 

  • Five + years of experience in account management within a creative, branding, or digital agency environment.
  • Ability to manage and maintain effective communication with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills appropriate for both internal and external correspondence.
  • Advanced experience supporting website and brand development initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Forecast, and Jira.
  • Ability to manage and incorporate client feedback while balancing project scope, timelines, and quality.
  • High level of organization with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Demonstrates strength in analyzing complex challenges and applying structured, strategic problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects while ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Anticipates client needs and project requirements, proactively addressing issues before they arise.
  • Superior experience in identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance team efficiency and client outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits at Wallop:

  • Salary range of $70K - $85K (CAD)
  • 15 days of vacation (3 weeks) to start
