Job Description
As an IP Account Manager within the BT Sales Team, you will be responsible for managing and growing one of Nokia's largest IP customer accounts globally. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills to defend existing business and develop new opportunities to increase Nokia’s market share. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify market trends, and align with BT's strategy and Nokia's portfolio. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, presenting and selling products/services, managing pricing strategies, and negotiating contracts are key aspects of this role. You will drive opportunities and pipeline development, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery. Additionally, you will provide thought leadership, shape sales strategies, and prepare sales reports and presentations.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our market share.
- Identify and develop business by anticipating market/technology/business trend as well as BT's strategy and Nokia's portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong and trusted customer relationships with strong business and professional expertise.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and new segments of BT Group.
- Manage pricing strategy and negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Drive opportunities and pipeline development by effective orchestration of sales, pre-sales and other functions.
- Pursuit sales lead that drives from the front with clear strategy and sales playbook.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
- Drives thought leadership, the shaping of sales strategy and senior management updates.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and presentations.
Key Skills And Experience
- Accomplished sales professional with track record of significant achievement.
- Extensive experience selling to service providers, data centres/webscalers.
- Experience of having worked for a Nokia competitor in the IP space such as Cisco/Tail-F, Juniper, Arcaya or from CSP or VAR world.
- Experience of managing high-value opportunities and business relationships.
- Previous experience of working with BT Group preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
- Experienced in managing/protecting large-scale existing business and developing new business.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship skills.
- Excellent communicator.
- Experienced in using Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
