Position Overview:
As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will act as the primary point of contact for key clients, working closely with internal teams to deliver on client objectives and exceed expectations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in account management, a deep understanding of client needs, and the ability to drive successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the main liaison between the company and assigned clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to offer tailored solutions that drive results.
Regularly meet with clients to review performance, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth.
Account Growth:
Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to existing clients.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand account portfolios.
Collaborate with the sales team to onboard new clients and ensure a smooth transition into account management.
Project Management:
Oversee the delivery of projects and campaigns, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align resources and meet client needs.
Monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, and provide regular updates to clients.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track and report on key account metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Prepare and present performance reports to clients, highlighting successes and areas for enhancement.
Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations and company standards.
Leadership & Mentoring:
Mentor and guide junior account managers and team members, providing support and sharing best practices.
Lead by example in demonstrating a client-first approach, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.
Contribute to the development and refinement of account management processes and strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or sales, preferably in [industry].
Proven track record of managing high-value accounts and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of [industry-specific knowledge or software/tools].
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail.
