Heartland School Solutions is seeking a talented Account Manager to retain and drive revenue through successful management and growth of their assigned book of business. They will manage the overall client relationship and be responsible for expanding client use of the MySchoolBucks payments platform.
What You’ll Do for Us:
- Manage the ongoing relationship with high potential school payments clients and achieve client retention goals
- Identify how MySchoolBucks Store can support client goals and drive new business
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Serve as a liaison between client and multiple internal teams (Support, R&D, Sales, and Product)
- Lead webinars and product demonstrations for customers to promote value through presentations
- Achieving growth targets for an assigned portfolio.
- Analyze client business for new opportunities, suggesting relevant products and services, and presenting market-specific content valuable to client growth.
- Quote and sell software and services to existing customer accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience and success in SaaS or payments technology sales
- At least 2 years of K-12 industry experience desired, related business services a plus
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all areas of the company, including internal stakeholders and customers
- Exceptional people, communication and collaboration skills to support working in a complex, multi-faceted business
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
- Technical skills required, as they relate to the use of the product or service
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying close attention to detail
- Knowledge or understanding of K-12 school finance or accounting practices are preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

$45,000 - $50,000 + Commission Compensation
The above represents the expected base salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your base pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors. The compensation model also allows for additional commission compensation, which may be later used to offset any wage advancements. A first-year professional may expect an average of $20,000 - $30,000 in commission compensation if you are in the top 25% in the form of uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity.
