Hoops HR is seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager on behalf of a leading insurance agency to join their team​!


Compensation: Salary (flexible based on experience)


Office Location: Plano, TX


Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM CST (full-time with flexible options available)

The Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager​ Role Overview:

Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager responsibilities will include a high level of customer service to new and existing clients including responding to service requests promptly and directly. Account Managers will work with the Producer(s) to design and recommend proper insurance and programs to obtain new and retain existing clients. You should have superior product knowledge and be familiar with the specific property and casualty products offered by carriers and brokers.



Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager​ Responsibilities:

  • Day to day responsibilities include assisting our personal lines insurance clients with policy changes, following up with carriers as needed, and reviewing endorsements for accuracy
  • Provide top-notch client service to clients
  • Manage a large number of time-sensitive client issues at any given time
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment handling a large volume of calls, emails, faxes, and paperwork without cutting corners while maintaining accuracy and integrity
  • Reduce confusion and frustration by assisting clients/prospects with complex paperwork
  • Research complex issues, think outside the box to solve problems and follow up promptly with actionable solutions
  • Resolve client issues in a timely manner pro-actively and collaboratively with the team
  • Learn and develop technical knowledge through vendor meetings, research, and training classes on an ongoing basis
  • Keep a detailed record of correspondence through our client relationship system with prospective and existing clients, vendors, and referral partners



Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager​ Requirements​:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in Personal Lines Property and Casualty insurance
  • Active Property & Casualty License required
  • Experience using Agency Management systems (Applied Epic and EZLynx highly preferred)
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • High level of proficiency quoting through Independent Agency’s appointed carriers
  • Commit to, utilize, and follow current operating systems and procedures while remaining adaptive/flexible to changing demands of a growing company
  • High attention to detail with data entry accuracy
