Role Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of proven experience in professional technology sales, encompassing consultative and solution sales, client needs assessment, sales plan development, business case development, presentations, proposals, closing sales, and client follow-up.
  • Must have a deep understanding of how to position outsourced & co-managed IT solutions.
  • Candidate must have a technology background and can effortlessly engage in discussions around cybersecurity services, Microsoft’s technology stack, RMM software, network infrastructure, business risk, and unified communications as a service.
  • Extensive experience in consultative sales within a service-based organization.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt rapidly to changing environments.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Here's what you will be responsible for:

  • Service assigned accounts within the territory and generate new customer relationships through the sale of our services.
  • Work with Customer Success and Delivery Teams to ensure service retention and renewals.
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals as established by the senior management team.
  • Participate in business development and demand generation activities to support customer growth.
  • Research accounts and prospects to gain a thorough understanding of their business and organization.
  • Always represent the company in a professional and highly ethical manner.
  • Cultivate relationships with multiple decision-makers within accounts, especially at the C-suite level.
  • Consistently and effectively communicate Harbor IT’s value proposition to key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Introduce company content experts, such as Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and Executives, to key stakeholders within your accounts.
  • Maintain consistent contact with all assigned accounts.
  • Build a personal brand within the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate the ability to grow business from a standing start.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop and sell Harbor IT solutions.
  • Work with pre-sales to develop proposals and statements of work.
  • Accurately and regularly forecast business using the company CRM tool.
  • Successfully develop new accounts in assigned markets.
  • Perform sales functions that result in increased utilization of the company’s products and services.
  • Develop sales presentations, quotes, and proposals with minimal guidance.
  • Prepare accurate and thorough sales and business activity reports.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demands.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing timely solutions.
  • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to enhance company visibility and personal brand.
