What’s expected of you?

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients at DeterTech. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies to expand the company’s customer base and increase revenue.


Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing customer strategies that align with company goals and drive revenue growth
  • Establishing and maintaining close relationships with key customers
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify improvement and growth opportunities
  • Working closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Coordinating proposals and bids for major projects
  • Leading contract negotiations and pricing discussions with key customers
  • Being the main point of contact for major clients


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous experience in Key Account Management
  • Demonstrated successes in achieving or surpassing sales targets
  • Your excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and negotiation skills have already been proven
  • Experience with contract negotiations and pricing discussions
  • Your independent work approach is characterized by strategic thinking and a strong interest in technically sophisticated products
  • As a team player, you impress with dedication and commitment
  • Very good proficiency in both spoken and written Dutch
  • Valid driver's license (Class B) and a willingness to travel nationwide
