A leading provider of IT Managed Services in New York City Metro area is looking for an Account Manager to further accelerate growth on a Local, Regional and National basis. Individuals applying for this position must be highly motivated, goal oriented and focused on continuous improvement. Candidate must be willing to work independently in a demanding and dynamic environment. Due to the consultative nature of the account management process, candidates must also have extremely strong phone and communication skills, technical aptitude, relationship-building ability, cooperative inter-departmental team-building skills, as well as the strong desire to grow revenue and learn the business.
In order to succeed in this role we will provides technical training, tools, career path upside and an experienced sales force from which to learn from.
Primary Responsibilities
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at our clients
Lead client meetings via collaboration tools and in person to help establish a rapport with the client base and provide relevant details in relation to services needed and support provided
Act as a customer advocate when an issue arises with a client to help driving the right people to optimize the customer experience
Maintain knowledge on current technologies & services relevant to our clients and the overall Technology Managed Services Industry
Gain client confidence through product knowledge, business needs, and service patterns by regularly observing the delivery and support processes
Audit service requests and projects to maintain a consistent client experience and high level of client satisfaction with a focus on continuous improvement
Proposal and quote preparation
Additional duties, upon management request
Qualifications
College Degree with proven academic success or equivalent Military Experience and 2+ years of B2B sales or account management experience in a technical field
Solution Sales & Technology Aptitude
Excellent grammar, written and oral communication skills
Strong Organizational Skills
Experience and ability to develop a professional rapport, overcome objections and maintain influential demeanor both in person and over the phone
