About the role
You will be responsible for sales in Baden-Württemberg and Saarland (temporary for about 1 year as a replacement for illness).
This home office position requires approximately 70% travel.
You will take full responsibility for your own results, co-develop growth strategies, drive commercial projects forward, and build strong customer relationships.
If you authentically enjoy networking (both internally and externally) and managing stakeholders on both sides of the table ensuring the successful progress of your projects, this role is for you. On top you think in terms of value-added solutions for our customers. With your advanced analytical skills you interpret the KPIs of your business and steer your actions both in the short and the long term.
Key responsibilities include
Active searching for new business opportunities, revenue prospects, and development of sales strategies
Building and maintaining resilient, long-term relationships with existing and new customers
Successful sales of our products and solutions to strengthen long-term business relationships
Negotiating contracts and terms with customers
Ensuring effective communication and collaboration between internal departments and customers
Taking the responsibility for achieving sales and profitability targets
Monitoring market and competition trends and developing appropriate actions
Analyzing the market and competitive landscape
Ensuring high data quality in Salesforce
About you
Strong business acumen and at least 2 years of professional experience in sales, ideally in the food and beverage industry
Completed studies in Business Administration, Marketing, a related field, or a completed vocational training in the food trade
Fluent in German and proficient in English business communication
Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce.com is highly advantageous
Strong project and stakeholder management skills
You have a valid driver’s license
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a "Can-Do" mentality
