Position Overview:
Authorium is seeking a Customer Account Executive - Federal to generate new sales revenue and oversee strategic customer accounts within the Federal Civilian sector that grow our consultative, SaaS model business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience developing and executing successful territory planning within the Federal Civilian agency space, demonstrated ability to engage executive customer stakeholders in mutual engagement and growth plans, and strong experience in field-based sales activities to effectively generate pipeline.
As a Customer Account Executive, you will build and lead relationships with Federal Civilian enterprise clients while planning and achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for your assigned territory and accounts. You will develop lasting relationships with multiple government executive personae and serve as a trusted advisor by understanding their business needs and advising how Authorium solutions can enable their current and future operational and administrative needs. You will oversee client relationship mapping to the account team, orchestrate an account strategy across a broad team that includes Solutions Architects, Marketing, and direct executive-level support. Successful candidates will have experience combining an independent approach to business development with collaborating across a variety of support resources and stakeholders to bring opportunities to successful conclusion at the optimal time, ensuring the best possible outcome for both the customer and Authorium. Your efforts will directly support revenue growth by ensuring solutions align with customer needs and contribute to long-term partnerships.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of sales experience within software or solutions sales (7+ preferred)
Demonstrated success engaging executive stakeholders within Federal Civilian government entities
Experience navigating complex customer interactions that may span multiple disciplines within Federal Civilian agencies
Demonstrated ability to generate new business, build relationships, negotiate deals, and maintain healthy C-Level relationships within the Federal Civilian sector
An analytical mindset and logical planning capabilities
Track record of achieving sales targets
Experience fostering a customer-first focus in a "win as a team" environment
Experience working in a high-growth start-up environment
An existing network of contacts with Federal Civilian public sector buyers is ideal
Proximity to Washington, DC is highly preferred

Salary Range: $200,000-$350,000 OTE
