Summary
Account Executive, Business Development
Job Purpose
The Account Executive, Business Development, is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of season tickets, group tickets, and nightly suite rentals by forming relationships with local businesses and past ticket buyers.
Primary (Essential) Duties
Generate revenue by selling season tickets, mini plans, group tickets, nightly suites and suite leases
Set and conduct face-to-face appointments with prospects and current customers
Prospect local businesses for new revenue opportunities
Proficient in face-to-face sales presentations with prospects, both at the ballpark and off-site
Ability to host multiple sales prospects at various pre-game and off-season sales events at Chase Field
Meet or exceed long-term (annual) ticket revenue goals
Visit prospective and current clients during Diamondbacks home games
Work sales headquarters during Diamondbacks home games
Maintain and effectively organize sales database (Fan360)
Other duties as assigned

Ability to use Microsoft Office, TicketMaster Ticketing System, and Fan360
Experience/Education Requirements
Minimum of one year sales experience or sports sales experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree Sport Management or Business preferred
Prior sports sales experience a plus
Prior B2B sales experience a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
Flexibility to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Office: Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Gameday: Job requires employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue. May work at heights. Employee will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb up/down stairs. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
