工作职责:

Job Summary

Assist design and development engineering work on assigned projects through NPD process. Provide engineering support and technical assistance to all Engineering customers, both internal and external.

• Assist new product design and development on assigned global new projects through NPD process. Provide engineering support and technical assistance to all Engineering customers, both internal and external.
• Work together with suppliers and team members to support developing capable, cost-effective manufacturing and assembly processes concurrent to product design activities (i.e. DFMA) to insure robust designs are delivered.
• Interact with project managers, marketing, industrial designer, SQE, sourcing and suppliers to meet the specifications and needs of the customer in the development of new, reliable products for the market.
• Assist in resolving engineering problems simultaneously in a multiple team environment.
• Assist in improving the processes, skills, team environment and tools necessary to achieve our company’s product leadership.
• Primary products to include faucets, showering, accessories, sanitary ware, kitchen appliance, bath cabinets, locking mechanism/devices, door hardware, doors and other adjacent products, etc., for the global market.
• Proactively prepare and present data for timely project updates and technical presentations to staff and/or senior management.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Salary grade will be based upon candidate experience and demonstrated performance.
  
  

任职条件:

• B.S Degree in Engineering. Prefer Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering relevant.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills for dealing with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers, and operations
• 1-3 years’ experience in Product Development Engineering with significant manufacturing exposure.
• Fluent in the use of Solidworks/Creo on 3D CAD and 2D Drawing and PC’s.
• Candidate have related knowledge in the following areas is a plus:
  
  

 Demonstrated record of Advanced Failure Analysis and scientific problem solving

 Interpretation of statistics related to manufacturing processes and part design.

 Collaborative problem solving techniques

 Geometric dimensioning and tolerances

 Analysis of component / assembly tolerance stack-up’s

 Testing and reliability evaluation for products

• Ability and willingness to travel up to approximately 15% of the time, both domestically and internationally
• Ability to effectively work with suppliers from different countries / cultures.
