Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Ab Initio.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand data requirements.
• Optimize data integration workflows for enhanced performance.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of existing data processes.
• Maintain and support existing ETL applications.
• Document technical specifications and enhance current process documentation.
• Utilize Ab Initio tools for data transformation and cleansing.
• Work with Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Engage in data modeling and storage strategy discussions.
• Assist in performance tuning of Ab Initio jobs and workflows.
• Develop and execute SQL queries to manipulate data as needed.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure delivery timelines are met.
• Implement best practices and standards for ETL system development.
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing of implemented solutions.
• Provide training and support for less-experienced team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as an Ab Initio Developer.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data integration methodologies.
• Proficient in SQL and database management.
• Experience with data warehousing technologies and architecture.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with debugging techniques in Ab Initio.
• Experience with shell scripting and automation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
