The job responsibilities include: * A strong background knowledge in teaching middle school math. * Use various methods of instruction to differentiate for all students. . Prepare lesson plans, homework, assignments, tests, etc. to support curriculum goals. * Develop classroom standards to maintain student discipline and behavior. * Communicate regularly with parents and administration on student concerns and academic performance. * Work with a team to determine student learning and behavioral concerns. * Establish learning goals and objectives. * Perform all duties in a professional manner. * Actively support a positive school culture for all members of the community. * Plan intensely and thoughtfully, and collaborate with other content area and grade level teachers. * Commitment to Locke Middle School's mission, vision and Core Values * Performs any other duties as assigned by the Principal Prefered candidate should be licensed as a middle school Math Teacher with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
