PURPOSE:

Responsible for all aspects of production application support in our Cloud/SaaS environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBLITIES & OUTCOMES:

• Monitor health and performance of IntelliMagic Vision in our SaaS environment
• Monitor IntelliMagic Vision application processing and exceptions
• Diagnose and resolve processing issues
• Manage all IntelliMagic Vision software upgrades
• Manage release notification process for all on-premise and SaaS based customers
• Support customizations to SaaS based software as needed by customer and analysts
• Support application delivery in pre-sales engagements including data collection
• Assist in the design, administration, and automation of cloud services
• Install, configure and maintain applications within the cloud ecosystem
• Investigate and resolve cloud infrastructure related customer satisfaction issues
• Observe and implement cloud security policies and procedures
• Monitor the performance and health of the cloud ecosystem to ensure customer SLAs and SLOs are met at all times
• Become familiar with GCP native services including GKE (Kubernetes) for container orchestration
  
  
  

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  
  
  

EXPERIENCE:

• 2-3 years of cloud experience
• Experience in supporting applications in a cloud environment
• Experience with GCP or other Cloud Providers
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Technical understanding of operating systems, networking and databases
• Some experience in scripting/automation required
  
  
  

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Familiarity with cloud service providers, either SaaS, IAAS, or PaaS models
• Ability to Explain technical services and solutions to non-IT audiences
