Summary

A key client of ours is looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their team in Bolton, on a fixed term basis for 9 months.


Main Responsibilities Required of the 3rd Line Support Engineer:


  • First point of escalation for the 1st and 2nd Line Support Engineers
  • Work closely with the IT Service Desk Manager to define and improve processes
  • Create and build knowledge across the service desk and wider team
  • Manage server accounts
  • Support of cloud telephone systems
  • Support networking equipment


Key Experience Required of the 3rd Line Support Engineer


  • 3-5 years experience within a 2nd/3rd Line Support role within a technical support desk or MSP
  • Experience with server environments (Windows)
  • Active Directory/Microsoft 365/Azure
  • Understanding of virtualisation
  • Understanding of network technologies


The successful 3rd Line Support Engineer will be paid a pro-rata'd salary of up to £40,000 per annum.
