Job Description

Role Summary:

The 3D Print Engineering Manager is responsible for day-to-day pre-production engineering to include setup and engineering management of 3D printing systems (resin and filament). The position requires advanced technical knowledge in 3D Print Engineering, administrative skills, organizational aptitude, quality control and 3D Printing Production optimization.

Areas of Responsibilities:

• Management: Oversee daily engineering operations and troubleshoot any design and engineering issues with the 3D printers or the printing process, taking corrective action as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of 3D print jobs, including settings, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Printer Operation: Set up and operate Resin 3D printers, ensuring correct calibration and settings for optimal print quality.
• Quality Control: Inspect printed components for defects and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to printer settings.
• Maintenance: Ensure regular checks and routine maintenance on 3D printers is conducted.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety guidelines, including the handling of hazardous materials.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Customers, Senior Management, outside engineers, CAD designers, and other team members to fulfill project requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot any issues with the 3D printers or the printing process, taking corrective action as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• College degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in 3D printing or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and slicing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess root cause analysis.
• Strong leadership abilities.
