What You’ll Do

Navitas is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java, Python, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications and APIs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires someone with strong technical acumen, solid experience in full stack development, and a passion for creating high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Java and Python.
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless front-end and back-end communication.
• Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, and Kinesis for cloud-based application deployment and integration.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers.
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and quality across the application lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance bottlenecks and bugs.
• Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and maintain codebase organization.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• 8+ years of experience in full stack development using Java and Python
• 3+ years of direct experience in key AWS services (EC2, S3, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Kinesis).
• Demonstrated expertise in API development and third-party integration.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to debugging and optimization.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  
  

Set Yourself Apart With

• AWS Developer Certification
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
