Spend only 1-2 hours a week and provide your expertise in Pediatrics by conducting Utilization Reviews in the Utilization Management/Peer Review process.

Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA) is a national Independent Review Organization (IRO), who facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness; known as Peer Review or Utilization Review.

IS REVIEW WORK FOR ME?

• Are you interested in staying informed of changes and knowing what treatments are being utilized by other physicians?
• Are you interested in learning more about how to get your own patient’s treatment approved?
• Most MRIoA reviewers average 1-2 hours per week. However, there are no minimum expectations.
• Cases typically take 30-60 minutes to complete.
  
  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• You will be covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable for review work)
• Work anywhere within the USA (Per HIPAA Regulations, patient records cannot leave the US).

Requirements:

Must be an MD or DO, Board Certified in Family Medicine (or Internal Medicine)

• Must have 5 years of patient care experience in Family Medicine (or Internal Medicine)
• Must have solid computer navigation skills
• Must have an unrestricted and current MINNESOTA, NEBRASKA, or NEW MEXICO license
• Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card (we are unable to sponsor a VISA)
