Spend only 1-2 hours a week and provide your expertise in Pediatrics by conducting Utilization Reviews in the Utilization Management/Peer Review process.
Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA) is a national Independent Review Organization (IRO), who facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness; known as Peer Review or Utilization Review.
IS REVIEW WORK FOR ME?
Are you interested in staying informed of changes and knowing what treatments are being utilized by other physicians?
Are you interested in learning more about how to get your own patient’s treatment approved?
Most MRIoA reviewers average 1-2 hours per week. However, there are no minimum expectations.
Cases typically take 30-60 minutes to complete.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
You will be covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable for review work)
Work anywhere within the USA (Per HIPAA Regulations, patient records cannot leave the US).

Sensitive Personal Info: MRIoA may collect sensitive personal info such as real name, nickname or alias, postal address, telephone number, email address, Social Security number, signature, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, driver’s license number, or state identification card number, and passport number.

Requirements:
Must be an MD or DO, Board Certified in Family Medicine (or Internal Medicine)
Must have 5 years of patient care experience in Family Medicine (or Internal Medicine)
Must have solid computer navigation skills
Must have an unrestricted and current MINNESOTA, NEBRASKA, or NEW MEXICO license
Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card (we are unable to sponsor a VISA)
