As our Technical Project Manager - Application Decomposition, you'll be the Architect of Atoms, wielding your expertise to lead a critical application decomposition workstream within a broader modernization program. You'll initially focus on establishing foundational services – service-to-service authentication, standard application templates, edge user authentication, shared libraries, and feature flag capabilities – before overseeing the full transition to a microservice architecture using the Strangler Pattern.

Your Powers & Abilities:

• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), code repositories, and CI/CD tools.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Technical Project Manager running complex projects.
• Solid grasp of Software Development principles, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines.
• AWS Cloud proficiency (Cloud Practitioner or Associate level certification preferred ☁️).
• Expertise in Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban methodologies ⚡.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating technical complexities for diverse audiences 🗣️.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and resolve conflicts to drive alignment and decision-making 🤝.
• High standards for reporting, delivering clear and concise updates ✍️.
• Strong risk and issue management skills with effective escalation protocols ⚠️.

Your Mission Objectives:

• Lead the technical execution of the application decomposition workstream.
• Manage and drive foundational initiatives to accelerate the transition to microservices.
• Oversee the decomposition of all backend services following the Strangler Pattern.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders.

Location: 100% Remote 🏠 (US, Pacific to Eastern time-zone coverage required, with flexibility around a ~9 am EST start).

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience (+8 years total, +5 years as a Technical PM).
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+ - C1 proficiency).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related technical field (preferred).
• Proven education or certifications in data management and cloud (preferred).
