Location: Malad West Posted on: 30th May 2024 The .Net Developer is accountable to the manager of Software Development and will be responsible for developing web based application on Microsoft Technologies. Key Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Responsible for writing coding, unit testing & programming. Preparing release note and maintaining different versions as required. Adapt and quickly develop in-depth technical understanding of new/different applications, and complex technology frameworks. Work with business analysts and end users to define system requirements and create technical design documents. Provide guidance and coaching to fellow developers while working on projects. Develop complex application modules, with an emphasis on open architecture, performance and security. Perform feasibility studies and proof of concepts on complex frameworks such as custom caching appliances and provide recommendations. Contributing towards analysis and design. Maintaining and modifying application/program. Interpret written business requirement & technical specification documents. Team management / mentoring & monitoring team members Should be confident in Team handling and presentable. Must be task oriented & focused. Submit weekly /monthly status report and other reports as required by the management. Other duties as designated by Client in support of maintaining, improving and standardizing the Coding. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in software development preferably within a variety of business environments. Preferred Undergraduate or Graduate Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or Information Technology. Hands on experience with some or all of the following Microsoft technologies: .Net Framework (3.5, 4.0), C#, MVC, WCF, Visual Studio (2008, 2010), MSMQ, IIS7. Must have solid experience with MS SQL CLR and SQL functions and packages as well as query tuning. Demonstrable knowledge of advanced concepts such as localization, reflection, caching strategies etc. Strong design patterns and agile development experience (unit testing, automated builds, etc.). Must have the ability to research and provide solutions for complex issues. Microsoft Certification (MCTS/MCAD) a definite asset. Previous experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Silverlight is a plus. Knowledge and experience of the following: .NET technologies including asp.Net and C#. Significant development work with Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 database and reporting services. Working knowledge for SQL Store procedures. Good knowledge of Web 2.0, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Hibernation. Must-have attributes: Strong communication, collaboration & decision making skills desired. Self starter and motivated towards continuous improvement on technical and soft skills on his/her own. Open to work in day and/or night shift. Ready to interact verbally with clients abroad. A team worker with ability to meet tight deadlines. Must be an organized person and should be ready to do extensive reporting on the tasks assigned. Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload. Team player and also able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work with internal clients groups; effective customer service skills.
