MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to set up speaking engagements and press conferences; research and work with team members to develop well thought out responses to agency press inquiries, prepare or coordinate preparation of slides/graphics for presentations; develop public events; compose and make speeches to various organizations; review and resolve complaints; review, interpret and analyze consumer complaints; use the Internet as a research tool; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; provide information to others; and work in a team environment. Additionally, the person filling this position must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office and Outlook.
 
SPECIAL NOTES:  
This position requires frequent travel and a valid driver’s license.
 
Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually.
 
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
 
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
