We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple projects executed at clients within our capital portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in on-site project execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that all projects are delivered successfully, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight & Coordination – Manage and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
Team Leadership & Collaboration – Work closely with cross-functional teams and sub-contractors, leveraging expertise to drive successful project outcomes.
Risk Management & Mitigation – Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, while keeping stakeholders informed and implementing effective solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Compliance & Governance – Ensure adherence to legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards to facilitate safe and compliant project execution.
Deliverables & Outcomes – Oversee project deliverables to ensure they meet business objectives and quality standards.
Deviations & Change Management – Manage and communicate project deviations, implementing necessary changes to keep projects on track.
Reporting & Status Updates – Provide regular project reports, including status updates, risk assessments, and issue resolutions.
Safety Management – Ensure that client specific requirements are adhered to.
Material availability - Engage with Procurement and Stores to ensure Installation teams have the correct material/ Equipment for Installation works.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Project Management certification (PMP preferred)
B.Tech Mechanical will be an advantage
3-5 years of experience in Project Management, with demonstrated expertise in project administration, coordination, and execution.
Proficiency in MS Projects or similar project scheduling software.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Communication skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Drivers license and own vehicle
Will be required to work away from the head office (Potchefstroom) during project construction at a client.
Must be willing to work on weekends occasionally.
