Labor & Delivery Nurse

Shift Information

Nights - 7pm to 7am, weekdays; every other weekend and holidays required.

Minimum Experience Required

A minimum of 4 years of relevant nursing experience is required.

Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Position Overview

This role is within a Level 2 Labor and Delivery unit focused on patients 32 weeks gestation and above. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Triage of patients presenting for labor and delivery.
• Circulating cesarean sections.
• Collaborative management of labor and delivery with physicians and midwives.
• Completing patient recovery processes following both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.

Holiday Coverage

Holiday coverage is not required for this position.
