About Position and details:

  • Role: Program Manager
  • Location: Birmingham/London
  • Hybrid: 2 to 3 days to office
  • Should be able to travel to Birmingham once in a week
  • Job Type: Permanent role
  • Experience: 18 to 20 years

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Highly expertise in product engineering and very detail-oriented technical leader
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Practice and Process structuring
  • Reporting and KPI management, Tracking
  • Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and software development processes.
  • Oversee the software development process, from design to deployment, ensuring on-time delivery
  • Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process in collaboration with Engineering Director
  • Promote agile methodologies, engineering best practices e.g. CI/CD, automated testing etc. to encourage quality software development
  • 7-10 years of experience in managing large product focused engineering teams
  • Oversee the software development process, from design to deployment, ensuring on-time delivery
  • Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel.
  • Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
  • Oversees project logistics and resource allocation.
  • Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.
  • Secures the resources needed for teams to excel, including researching and proposing capital investments.
  • Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies.
  • Advocates on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success.
  • Communicates technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers.
  • Maintains high level expertise in their field or sector.
  • Assures that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines.
  • Collaborates at all levels of leaders and departments.
  • Forges and maintains relationships with customers and other business stakeholders
