Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Performance Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and diagnose performance issues, develop and execute performance tests, and make recommendations for optimizing system performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute performance test plans, scripts and analyze test results.

Debug and troubleshoot issues in production, optimize code performance and scalability.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and diagnose performance issues, and make recommendations for optimizing system performance.

Monitor system performance in production and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Develop and maintain tools and scripts to automate performance testing and monitoring.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to performance engineering.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development process and tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

5+ years of experience in performance engineering or related field.

Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.

Familiarity with performance monitoring in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).

Experience with performance testing of web applications and RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development practices.

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Experience with machine learning or data analytics is a plus.
