Summary

Description

At Flagship Dental Group, the Patient Coordinator is more than a front desk role — you are the first impression and a key part of creating a calm, welcoming experience that helps patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk in. If you thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and know how to keep a schedule running smoothly, we’d love to meet you.

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 8 am - 5 pm, Thursday 8 am - 6 pm and Friday 8 am - 4 pm

What You’ll Do

  • Create a welcoming, high-energy environment by greeting patients and setting the tone for an exceptional visit

  • Keep the day running seamlessly by managing the schedule, minimizing wait times, and proactively solving issues as they arise

  • Serve as the connection point between patients and the clinical team, ensuring smooth handoffs and clear communication

  • Support patients through their visit — from check-in to check-out — including scheduling next appointments and collecting payments

  • Present treatment plans, explain insurance coverage, and discuss financial options with confidence and accuracy

  • Stay ahead of the schedule by confirming appointments, verifying insurance, and following up on missed or late arrivals

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all processes align with HIPAA standards

  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional front office environment

  • Support the team with onboarding, training, and day-to-day office operations

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

This is an opportunity to step into a well-run, team-oriented practice where your role is essential to both the patient experience and the success of the office.

Full-time Benefits

We recognize that taking care of our team is just as important as taking care of our patients. That’s why we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Health insurance starting on your first day of employment

  • Vision insurance

  • Paid vacation time

  • Paid holidays

  • Paid sick time

  • Dental and orthodontic benefits

  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution

  • Consistent, set schedule (no weekends!)

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred

  • Hands-on experience verifying insurance and a strong understanding of coverage, benefits, and patient responsibility is highly desired

  • Proven ability to manage a busy schedule and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently speak with patients about treatment and finances

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and payments

  • Professional presence with a positive, team-oriented mindset that provides exceptional customer service to all our patients

  • Comfort using practice management software and standard office tools
