Summary

We offer the opportunity to work in data and information technology at Chalmers as a lecturer (in Swedish, "tekniklektor"). We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in contributing to educating Chalmers students at the basic and advanced levels in the subject area.

In this announcement, we offer positions at all our academic divisions:

  • Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, with education mainly in data science, machine learning and AI, algorithms, and mathematical modelling.
  • Computer Networks and Systems, with the opportunity to work in traditional computer engineering subjects, hardware, operating systems, distributed systems and cybersecurity.
  • Computing Science, with specializations in data security, formal methods, functional programming, as well as logic and type theory. This division also has a lot of teaching in basic programming.
  • Software Engineering and Interaction Design, with the possibility to specialize in interaction design, game design, programming, software design, software architecture or software processes.

In some courses, it will be possible to teach and work in a lab environment close to students, e.g. with teaching and working with hardware and software solutions in lectures and exercises which are then followed up with practical assignments. Other courses may be more theoretical, and your work may focus more on course development and lectures. Here there are great opportunities to choose your own teaching method, subjects and courses based on your own interests.

Please indicate and motivate in your application which division(s) and subject areas best suit your interests and your background.
