About your responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with strong proficiency in Java SE to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications and infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) while leveraging their expertise in Java SE to develop efficient and scalable backend solutions.

• Help develop and drive the vision of our AWS platform from an application and data perspective, working with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business objectives and design efficient and effective solutions.
• Have experience in developing frameworks leveraging design patterns.
• Optimize cost, latency, and resource utilization using AWS best practices.
• Be experienced to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments
• Have good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models

Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in cloud engineering, with demonstrated expertise in AWS
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of AWS ecosystem from a computer, database, storage, container, and other key AWS core and supported managed service offerings (Serverless, EC2, AKS, EKS, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Java or other object-oriented or functional languages on AWS or other cloud
• Strong experience in microservices & API development (REST, SOAP)
• Strong experience with containers and container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, etc.).
• Strong experience in Java/J2EE technologies, Spring, Spring Boot framework
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience in building APIs for both internal and external products.
• Experience in software development and deployment methodologies
• Strong English (C1-C2) written and verbal communication skills
